Hi Nancy,
I consider you to be one of my main blogging mentors, and appreciate your kind comments. I was just thinking about your last post this morning. I am slowing emerging from my latest rest period in the creation cycle, and your suggestion of a positive affirmation regarding the next creation is very helpful!
Love & Abundant Blessings,
Kathleen

Hi Kerrie,
I think it's often so much easier to take action than to wait. Or to wait when it's really time to take action! Listening with one's whole being and following the guidance that emerges can often be very challenging. When ,as you demonstrate, we really listen, we can feel at peace even when in precarious situations. We are certainly having lots of great practice!
Love and Hugs,

Beautiful and heart-felt post, Kathleen! I really enjoyed reading all you experienced and how you found your way out by listening to your heart, not your head.

I especially loved:
<blockquote>I have deep gratitude for all the teachers, who taught me that whenever a situation looks impossible that’s where the greatest opportunity lies. This is where many people give up because they believe it really is impossible.</blockquote>

Wonderful, and so true! Thank you for uplifting me with your great reminders. :D

Many blessings,
Nancy

Hi Jeanne,
I just finished commenting on your recent post: JobLife Architect post: WHO is Defining Your Success? <a href="http://bit.ly/anB7g4" target="_blank">http://bit.ly/anB7g4</a>
So many of us are learning to look within for our values, our answers, our guidance. Everything you wrote in your post reflects heart wisdom, and you've written it in a way that so many people can relate! I am so glad I took the leap to get on twitter and to connect with people like you. Thanks for being my blogging buddy and for the mutual inspiration. I doubt I would have written this post, if you hadn't inspired me to make the time!
Much Love,
Kathleen

Dear Kathleen:

Thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom. Recently, I have been urged to spend more time meditating and to practice more consistently. I'm highlighting your words that resonated as a firm reminder:

In several passages you state:
-"to drop out of my head and inhabit my entire being."
-"moving out of my intellect and being fully present to my body-mind, while following the cues it gave me."
-"The knowing came in either an intuitive flash or a strong body feeling which my intellect learned to translate as "do this or say that." Until now I had been more focused on the action which followed the stillness than the Stillness Itself."

In virtually all faiths including atheism, there are quotes and maxims that reinforce the need for reflection or meditation. From belief in basic intuition to "Be Still and know that I am God" to Lao Tsu's "In the center of your being you know who you are and you know what you want."

You also said, "If our intellects could solve all our problems, how would we learn that we are so much more?" I have seen this power in my own life and I'm still learning to simply STOP before reacting when challenges arise. You mentioned "deep gratitude for all the teachers" and I agree. We need to simply pay homage to the greatest teacher of all. We don't need to label it as God or the collective unconscious or anything else. We simply need see for ourselves...to ask, to be still, and to listen.

Hi Nancy,
Your questions always stimulate my mind and cause me to look at something I hadn't explored before! I attended Gregg Braden's "God Code" workshop some years ago, and never connected those particular dots. Thanks to you for calling my attention to the similarity in both the message and the vibration in those sounds! I am rather astounded because it's now so obvious. You've really made my day!
As to your other question, I am in agreement that everything contains the vibration of Source. This question came up for me a while ago (in a slightly different context), when I asked the Ancestors about the language they transmit through me. What I understood from them was that they and the language vibrate at a frequency closer to Source Energy, and that what the sounds mean is also what they do, i.e., awaken cellular memory of the Light and Love that is our Essential Nature.
You are truly a Master Questioner!
With Love & Gratitude,
Kathleen

Wonderful post, Kathleen, as always ~and it prompts more contemplation from me. Recently, I listened to the audio book, The God Code, by Gregg Braden in which he shares what scientists have learned about DNA and the coded message within. He also goes on to talk about the "name of God" is the combination of the vowel sounds common in ALL human languages: EIOUA (pronounced, EEYOWAAAY) and is often spelled, YahWeh. It strikes me that Native Americans use this sound in much of their music, and your word, Ee Yah Shay, is *almost* identical. Surely there is a connection, but what do you think?

Many cultures believe that meditating on the mantra of YahWeh brings us closer to God/Source Energy. All words and sounds boil down to vibration. Apparently, YahWeh contains the vibration of Source ~but then again, since ALL eminates from Source, doesn't everything contain the vibration of Source?

Many blessings,
Nancy

So glad it spoke to you ,Joanna, especially since I'm currently being inspired by your book, Hearth Stories! Like my friend ,Jeanne, you personify what I wrote. Reading about your journey is reminding me of parts of my own journey that I need to remember and integrate into the Present, and I'm looking forward to both our sequels. Metaphorically speaking for me of course--for the moment!
